FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: material contains EPDM-40 ethylene-propylene diene rubber, sulfur curing agents and tiuram D, vulcanization accelerator 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, vulcanization activators, zinc oxide and stearin, carbon black, a phosphorborate-containing oligomer modification additive, and a mixture of microspheres and micro-carbon fibres. Moreover, the modification additive is preliminarily applied to the micro-carbon fibres of the MUV, by means of their thermostating at 80°C in a 5 wt % solution of phosphoroborate containing oligomer in acetone.
EFFECT: increased strength and increased duration of heat-shielding efficiency.
