FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: vertical take-off and landing aircraft contains the basic propulsion system for horizontal flight in the airplane mode, from at least three separate lifting power plants to create thrust in the vertical plane. The airplane propellers of the lifting power plants are installed in such a way, that the plane of its rotation is located at the angle from 2 up to 35 degrees to the wing or wings bearing planes. The method to control the aircraft flight is characterized in that at take-off time, the aircraft in the hovering mode is located with nose-up from 2 to 35 degrees, to climb the sufficient speed on the lift engines, the entire aircraft is inclined forward up to the pitch attitude, providing the horizontal flight in the airplane mode, after reaching the required speed (1.1-1.5 of stalling speed), the lift engines are switched off.
EFFECT: reduction of the transition time from the hovering mode to the horizontal flight mode and back, the fuel consumption decrease.
