FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: explosion-proof valve, in which elastic elements located in the sleeve to increase damping in the system are made in the form of cylindrical helical springs with a built-in damper. Each cylindrical helical spring consists of two parts with on-coming ends. One part has turns of rectangular cross-section, and the other part of the spring is made hollow. The on-coming end of the first part is located in the cavity of the second part. The gaps of segment profile of contacting spring parts are filled by antifriction grease. A sealing gasket is mounted at the end of the second spring part to prevent grease leakage. The first part of the helical spring, made with turns of rectangular cross-section with rounded edges, is embraced by a tube made of damping material. Gaps in the first part of the helical spring, made with turns of rectangular cross section, embraced by the tube made of damping material, are filled with crumb of friction material.
EFFECT: increasing efficiency of the protection of technological equipment from explosions by increasing the damping lined cargo gate.
