FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: inventions can be used in processing of narrow slots in parts from hard materials. Cutting plate comprises body with central part with hole, which axis is plate axis of symmetry and rotation. Body has at least three circumferences radially arranged and symmetrically spaced apart in circle with serial alternation of lateral basic sectors and structural elements transition to them. Side surface of plate comprises tangentially and radial surfaces, at intersection of which cutting edges are formed. At intersection of top surface and arranged tangentially surfaces radius of curvature are made forming angular cutting edges. Lateral sides of lateral basic sectors are connected to housing of plate, and their wide part is tangential plate base. Disclosed are versions of cutting plate and disc cutter design for processing of narrow slots.

EFFECT: milling cutter higher efficiency during treatment of hard materials.
