FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is based on the use of low-plastic clay and galvanic slurry formed during the reagent purification of sewage of the galvanic shop with calcium hydroxide and containing (wt %): Zn(OH)2 - 11.3; Ni(OH)2 - 2.6; Cu(OH)2 - 2.4; Cr(OH)3 - 9.3, CaCO3 - 40.3, Ca(OH)2 - 16.5 and SiO2 - 7.0. Before use, the galvanic slurry is dried at T=130°C and is subjected to fine grinding to a degree of grinding not more than 40 microns (according to GOST 6589-74). The charge for producing acid-resistant ceramics contains (wt %): low-plastic clay - 85.0; galvanic sludge - 5.0; lanthanum oxide - 5.0; boric acid - 5.0.
EFFECT: increasing the compressive strength, acid resistance and frost resistance, while maintaining the remaining properties at the level that meets the requirements for clinker bricks, while reducing the energy intensity of production by reducing the specific pressure of pressing and expanding the resource base by using low-plastic clays and utilizing galvanic slurry to produce environmentally safe material.
