SUBSTANCE: method for manufacture a surgical instrument branch includes provision of a metal portion that has a support portion and at least one functional portion that are inseparably connected to each other via at least one connecting bridge, pressurized material pouring to the metal portion, and connecting bridge removal. Pressurized pouring of the material is performed leaving at least one area of the functional portion surface free. The support portion and the functional portion together form a gap, and at the functional region, at least one retaining structure located on the side of the support portion is provided which does not come in contact with the support portion. An electrosurgical instrument with at least one branch having a support portion and at least one functional portion which are made of metal of the same composition and the same structure and rigidly connected to each other by means of material. The support portion and the functional portion together form a gap filled by the material and at least one retaining structure located on the side of the support which does not come into contact with the support portion is provided at the functional portion.

EFFECT: production of qualitatively high-grade medical instruments.
