FIELD: engine devices and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: engine comprises four cylinders (1, 2, 3, 4) in row arrangement. Each cylinder contains at least one outlet opening (5A) to discharge exhaust gases through exhaust gas discharge system (6), and each outlet aperture (5a) adjoins to an outlet line (5). The four cylinders are designed to form two groups, in each case with two cylinders. Exhaust lines (5) the cylinders of each group of cylinders are connected in each case to form a common outlet line (8) for forming an exhaust manifold (7). At least one turbine (17a) of a turbo-supercharger (17) with a drive from exhaust gases is arranged in each common outlet line (8). In each case one outer cylinder (1, 4) and the adjacent inner cylinder (2, 3) form a group. The cylinders (3, 4) of the first group which operates constantly during operation of internal combustion engine, and the cylinders (1, 2) of the second group are formed as cylinders (1', 2'), which are brought into action depending on load and which are deactivated from the operation in case of partial deactivation from the operation when specified load in underreached.
EFFECT: increase of engine efficiency in all ranges of engine rotation rate.
