SUBSTANCE: photoelectric conversion device includes multiple photoelectric conversion units, each of which has multiple photocells, on which light falls concentrated by means of one microlens, each of the multiple photocells includes a first semiconductor area of the first conductivity type for collection of a signal charge, height of the potential barrier relative to the signal charge of at least section of the area between the first semiconductor areas of the photocells placed next to each other and connected into the same photoelectric conversion unit is lower than the height of the potential barrier located between the first semiconductor areas of the photocells located next to each other, and each of which is connected into different photoelectric conversion units arranged next to each other, and each microlens is applied on multiple first semiconductor areas contained in the same pixel relative to the top view of the photoelectric conversion unit and concentrates light on the multiple first semiconductor areas.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtaining the required signal when signals of multiple photocells are used as one signal, using the proper insulation structure between the photocells.
