FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: electrochemical cell of the microscope contains working electrodes - an isolated needle with only the tip of its tip open and a sample connected to the first and second bipotentiostat inputs, respectively, a measuring nanoelectrode connected to its fourth input, an auxiliary electrode connected to the output and compensating nanoelectrode connected to the third input of the bipotentiostat. Identical measuring and compensating nanoelectrodes for comparison of an electrochemical cell contain a dielectric porous element made in the form of a cylinder with a pointed end, the surface of the porous element is covered with a layer of silver, the outer surface of which is covered with a layer of insulating material. The entire volume of pores of the dielectric porous contact element is filled with silver nanoparticles coated with a silver chloride, and is impregnated with electrolyte. The outer layer of silver is connected to the current-collecting silver wire, which is the output of the nanoelectrode and located inside and along the axis of the cylindrical porous element.
EFFECT: increase of accuracy, productivity and reliability of measurements, expansion of functionality in the study of electrochemical processes.
