SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for Meldonium determination in a biological fluid (urine), which can be used in clinical diagnosis and doping control. In the method for Meldonium determination in the urine by high-performance liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry detection using ultra high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) system with tandem mass spectrometry, consisting of a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer with a heated electrospray ionization source and a liquid chromatograph, enclosing a binary gradient pump, an automatic samples dispenser and a thermostat, for chromatographic separation, an analytical column is used which enables operation with compounds of high polarity and small molecular weight, as mobile phase acetonitrile: 10 mm of ammonium acetate is used, mobile phase flow rate is maintained constantly equal to 0.3 ml/min, detection of the defined substances is performed in the multiple reactions monitoring mode based on the internal standard, for which Gabapentin is selected.
EFFECT: increased determination efficiency.
