FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining catecholamine derivatives in a biological liquid (urine), which can be used in clinical diagnosis. Method for determining catecholamine derivatives in urine by high-performance liquid chromatography is characterized by that sample preparation is carried out by passing a sample of analyzed urine through a cartridge for solid-phase extraction ISOLUTE SCX, adding solution of 9-fluorenyl-methoxycarbonyl chloride and holding for 20 minutes at room temperature, and then washing with 5 % ammonium acetate solution in methanol, further, the obtained solution is analyzed by UHPLC, the eluent used is a two-component system, acetonitrile: 0.1 % formic acid at flow rate 0.45 ml/min. Detection of catecholamine derivatives is carried out using a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer with a heated electrospray ionization source.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the method, reduces analysis time and reduces labor intensity without loss of efficiency and selectivity.
