INVERSION MARKING OF CONTACT LENSES Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G02C7/04

Abstract RU 2639604 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: lens contains a contact lens from the first material and integrated into it inversionnuju markings containing cholesteric liquid crystal material that is reflective, when is outside the eye, does not demonstrate noticeable change in colour temperature below the temperature of the cornea and loses its reflectivity when heated to temperatures close to the temperature of the cornea. In the second version of the marking is made of two layers of material included in the first, each of which has a different holestericheskij liquid crystal material and the layers have a different step of the diffraction grating and different as a result of the reported colours, and between the two layers is diffuse delimiter from a thermal polymer dispersed liquid crystal material.

EFFECT: inversion marking is visible when the lens is outside the eye, and is invisible when the lens is located on the surface of the eye.
