FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: control method by a laser beam, in which a rotating platform with a mirror is placed in the magnetic field to reflect the incident laser beam located on one of its sides. On the other side of the platform, an electric current conductor and a rotary mechanism are located. And the conductor is made in the form of ring turns, which are located along the perimeter of the turntable platform. The swing mechanism is installed in the center of gravity of the platform. A magnetic field is formed by a system of electromagnets. Current of the ring turns and electromagnets is controlled from the condition of reflection of the laser beam from the mirror in a given direction.
EFFECT: increasing the responsiveness of the laser beam control.
