FIELD: control systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of general purpose systems and optical systems and can be used to increase efficiency of laser beam control. Method of controlling laser beam includes steps of placing a platform with a mirror on one side in a magnetic field, an electric current conductor and a rotary mechanism on the opposite side, conductor of electric current is made in the form of ring turns located along platform perimeter, rotary mechanism is installed in center of gravity of platform, magnetic field is formed by system of electromagnets, current of annular turns and electromagnets is controlled from condition of reflection of laser beam from mirror in preset direction. At the same time the targets of the mirror surface are given a curvilinear shape from the condition of formation of the specified profile of the image of the laser beam in the plane of the target.

EFFECT: invention provides formation of the required image profile of the laser beam.
