SUBSTANCE: source video device is proposed to provide a video signal representing a video image for transferring a 3D video to the target device. The source device comprises of an output unit for generating a video signal and for transferring the video signal to the target device. The target device comprises of a receiver for receiving a video signal. The source device includes a source depth processor for providing depth filtration data including filter location data. The depth filtration data represents a processing condition for processing the target depth data in the area of the video image filter indicated by the filter location data.
EFFECT: improving the quality of the three-dimensional video visualization due to adding depth filtration data to the three-dimensional signal.
