FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: light-boiling fractions are distilled from heavy pyrolysis resin to form a soft pitch with softening temperature of 30-80°C according to ring-and-ball method, and mixed with technical carbon, which content is 2-10% of the mixture. The obtained mixture is processed in a disintegrator to obtain homogeneous sedimentation-stable dispersion which is subjected to coking in periodic-action cubes as a raw material.
EFFECT: increased homogeneity of structural organisation of isotropic coke.
