FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oil refining, in particular, to the high-quality needle coke production for electrodes industry. Method comprises mixing, in the intermediate vessel, of the catalytic cracking heavy gas oil and the recycle with the secondary raw material formation, heating the secondary raw material to the coking temperature and filling the coking chamber with it with the needle coke production. In the process of coking, the recirculation ratio is gradually increased from 1.3–1.6 at the beginning of the secondary raw materials supply to the coking chamber to 1.7–2.2 before the coking chamber filling with raw materials.

EFFECT: improvement of coke quality with simultaneous increase in the needle coke uniformity in quality.
