FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of producing 6-[4-hydroxy(thio,carboxy)phenyl]-1,11-dioxa-4,8-dithia-6-azacyclotridecanes of the general formula (1):

R = OH, SH, COOH. The compounds can be used as sorbents and extractants of precious metals, as well as selective complexing agents, consisting in the reaction of 4-aminophenol or 4-aminothiophenol or 4-aminobenzoic acid with 1,6,9-trioxa-3,12-dithia-cyclotridecane in the presence of catalyst Sm(NO3)3⋅6H2O.
EFFECT: new method of producing compounds of the general formula is developed.
