SUBSTANCE: radiation imaging system contains a variety of holders adapted to position and support a variety of devices for the beam imaging, each of which includes a registered radiation panel having a two-dimensional matrix of pixels and adapted to convert the filed radiation into the image signal, so that the parts of the respective radiation imaging devices spatially overlap when observed from the side of radiation, and a unit adapted to obtain an X-ray image based on the image signals from the respective radiation imaging devices, and at least a portion of each of the said plurality of holders is adapted to support a corresponding one of the radiation imaging devices in the region different from the effective pixel areas of the respective radiation imaging devices when observed from the side of irradiation. The radiation imaging device is used in the radiation imaging system and includes a registered radiation panel having a two-dimensional matrix of pixels and adapted to convert the filed radiation into the image signal, so that the parts of the respective radiation imaging devices spatially overlap when observed from the side of irradiation.

EFFECT: inventions can reduce the number of artifacts in the image.
