SUBSTANCE: implemented method of conducting a controlled experiment using prediction of future user behaviour. The method is performed on the server and includes the steps of: collecting user behaviour data: from the first group of users to whom the control version of the service is represented, and from the second group of users to whom the experimental version of the service is presented; based on the prediction model applied to the collected behaviour data, determining the predicted quality parameter values for each user from: the first user group and the second user group at corresponding time intervals; determining the statistically significant difference between the predicted quality parameter values for each user from the first user group and the predicted quality parameter values for each user from the second user group.

EFFECT: reducing the time of separate testing for web optimisation.
