FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: device for embossing and/or perforating thin sheets for tobacco products comprises a pair of embossing rollers, one of the embossing rollers comprising teeth for perforating the thin sheets, the counter roller for the roller with the perforating teeth being a die roller having recesses corresponding to the teeth of the punch roller. Both embossing rollers are placed in a perforating device, the device being designed for the direct or indirect operation in a tobacco manufacturing machine in real time.

EFFECT: using punch-die rollers for embossing allows to obtain a large number of perforation versions, the device comprising a regulator adapted for adjusting, depending on the thin sheets structure being processed, the exact location, size and arrangement of the perforations.
