SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used in the manufacture of an embossing roller set. For preliminary determination of parameters of the rollers, a model device is used, comprising two rollers to which measured and controlled pressure is applied. Between said rollers, foil is passed at different values of external pressure until the required embossing quality is achieved. Actual hydraulic pressure is measured, and based on this measurement result, the parameters of the rollers on which the embossing rollers are made are calculated.
