SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for small embossing of packing material. Essence of invention consists in the fact that embossing device for small embossing of packaging material, comprising set of embossing rolls with matrix embossing rolls and embossing platens puncheons, wherein the structural elements of the matrix embossing rolls correspond to the structural elements of the embossing plungers, and structural elements of one of rollers are formed independently from structural elements of other rollers so as not to be inverse-congruent, wherein at least one structural element of at least one of rollers has on its lower surface and/or surface and/or on side surfaces, and/or in close proximity to them light-scattering elements having height of 10–150 mcm and base side length making at least 10 mcm.

EFFECT: possibility of attractive high-quality embossing with formation of complex logos.
