FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining polyurethane foam comprises the steps of: supplying an isocyanate-reactive component A comprising a polyol component A1 which further comprises a physical foaming agent T; mixing at least the isocyanate-reactive component A and the isocyanate component B, thereby obtaining a polyurethane reactive mixture; feeding the polyurethane reactive mixture into the cavity (11) and lowering the pressure inside the cavity (11) to a pressure lower than the ambient pressure. The physical foaming agent T is present in the isocyanate-reactive component A in the form of an emulsion. The polyol component A1 constitutes a continuous phase, and the drops of the physical foaming agent T are a dispersed phase emulsion. In the latter, the average drop size of the physical foaming agent T is from ≥0.1 mcm up to ≤20 mcm. The drop size is determined by means of an optical microscope operating in a light-field translucent mode.
EFFECT: stability of foam resistance to its phase separation during storage or under shear.
