FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: membrane sorption of the following inflammation mediators is performed: interleukin 6, interleukin 8 and interleukin 10. At that, if the patient has two or more risk factors for development of systemic inflammation: estimated duration of the artificial circulation exceeding 80 min; repeated heart surgeries; presence of diabetes mellitus, a chronic infectious focus, the sorption of inflammatory mediators is carried out using a polymethylmethacrylate membrane, which is installed in the loop of the artificial circulation device through a roller pump operating at a rate of 300 ml/min. In a particular case, in order to reduce the volume of circulating blood and/or to reduce the degree of infusion hemodilution in the cardiothoracic tank, a hemofilter port is opened and spontaneous ultrafiltration is performed.
EFFECT: prevention or reduction in the severity of the systemic inflammatory response in patients after cardiosurgical interventions with a prolonged period of cardiopulmonary bypass.
