FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for determining a trend of a measure of the degree of user involvement in relation to a web service. Plurality of requests are received from user devices, a test version of the web service is provided to a test group and a control version of the web service is provided to the control group. Amplitude and phase indicators are obtained for each of the user devices at least for the test group. Average group indicators are determined. Trend of the indicator of the degree of user involvement in relation to the web service is determined, wherein determination of the trend is based on the analysis of the average amplitude indicator and the average test indicators of the amplitude and phase.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling determination of the trend of the indicator of the degree of involvement in relation to a web service.
