FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: according to the method, two-way transmission surveillance with information exchange between two half-sets of relay protection installed on different sides is assumed. The transmitting models of line sections are used from the observation points to the branches and the line section between the branches, the output signals of transmitting models are converted into complex measurements, measurements are displayed on the complex planes of recognition modules. Recognition modules are educated from imitation power line models. For transferring models, the equivalent branches are entered with number of no more than two, measurements are formed in the form of complex parameters separately for main protection and for protection of distant backup. For main protection two branch complex parameters in each phase are formed, each measurement is applied on blocking and allowing recognition modules intended for it, blocking modules of both protections are taught from the first imitation model reproducing the modes of healthy line. Additionally, blocking the main protection modules of are taught, as well as allowing protection modules of far reservation are taught, from the second imitation model, reproducing modes short-circuit in the branches that require reservation. Basic protection allowing modules are taught from the third imitation model, reproducing short-circuits in trunk line, the area of recognition modules triggering is set as display of multiple training regimes of relevant imitation models. Basic protection is blocked if all measurements of its blocking modules are displayed in their triggering areas, otherwise the main protection triggering is allowed, if at least one measurement is displayed in the triggering area of the corresponding allowing module. The far reservation protection is blocked if all measurements are displayed in the corresponding trigging areas, otherwise the far reservation protection is triggered if at least one measurement is displayed in the triggering area of the corresponding allowing module.

EFFECT: enhanced functionality and increased sensitivity of protection.
