FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes controlling and changing the duration of oil accumulation and pumping periods according to optimal parameters. If an operational pressure sensor is provided at the pump intake, the values of critical pressure at which the pump turns on/off are set. The duration of complete pumping/accumulation period corresponding to specified critical pressures is recorded. The operation of the well is monitored. Periodical control over the change of duration of complete pumping/accumulation period is carried out, and when duration of complete pumping/accumulation period changes by more than 5% from the fixed value, the pressure of pump activation is corrected by analytical expression. In case of absence or failure of pressure sensor at pump intake, the duration of pumping and accumulation periods and critical number of stops is set due to feed failure. The pump stops caused by feed failure due to critical reduction of liquid level in well annulus are registered. When the specified critical number of stops due to feed failure is reached, the duration of accumulation period is adjusted by the relevant analytical expression.
EFFECT: increased operation efficiency of low-output well under conditions of decreasing formation productivity by optimising parameters of pumping unit operation, increased thereof production rate and reduced risk of feed failure when the inflow is decreased.
