FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: density of the hepatic tissue is determined by means of ultrasonic densitometry, for which a convection sensor is placed in the region of the right hypochondrium at the level liver segments 7 and 8. Visualization is performed in B-mode with a frequency of 5 MHz and depth of 5-8 cm. The size of the investigated area is 5×5 mm. Liver parenchyma density is measured. At values of more than 17 dB, the presence of fibrous changes in the liver is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method allows to diagnose the signs of fibrous changes in the hepatic tissue at the early stages of process development in children with a functionally single heart ventricle.
