SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for recovering liquid additive (8) from internal space (1) of tank (2) at extraction point (3). In step a) liquid additive (8) is filtered by means of at least one filter (4) which closes extraction point (3) and separates it from internal space (1) of tank (2), and through which liquid additive (8) flows, in which the contaminants of liquid additive (8) are deposited on surface (5) of filter (4), and liquid additive (8) is extracted from tank (2) at extraction point (3). In step b) at least one porous filter cake (6) is formed from contaminants (7) of liquid additive (8) on filter surface (5). In step c) liquid additive (8) is filtered by means of at least one porous filter cake (6), in which contaminants (7) of liquid additive (8) are deposited in filter cake (6), and liquid additive (8) is extracted from tank (2) at extraction point (3).
