FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fractionation of polydisperse mixtures of nano- and microparticles and can be used to isolate particle fractions of a given size range. According to a method for fractionating polydisperse mixtures of nano- and microparticles, a suspension of a mixture of particles prepared on the basis of a carrier liquid is introduced into the separation channel in the carrier fluid stream. Separation channel is installed on the core of the planet centrifuge. Planet centrifuge rotates with an angular velocity in the range of 100÷3000 rpm. Fractions are eluted in the particle size increasing order.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the increase in the efficiency of fractionation of polydisperse mixtures of nano- and microparticles with increasing mass of the separated mixture of particles.
