FIELD: laboratory diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to laboratory diagnostics, namely to the method and device for recovering extracellular vesicles from a sample of the subject’s biological fluid. Method for extracting extracellular vesicles from the subject’s biological fluid sample includes at least the following steps: a biological fluid sample is obtained; this sample is passed through the first membrane filter containing the membrane, which practically does not bind biological polymers and has pore sizes within the range from 400 to 600 nm; furthermore, the solution passed through the first filter, is passed through the second membrane filter containing a membrane that practically does not bind biological polymers and has pore sizes within the range from 70 to 200 nm; the material from the biological fluid sample that has not passed through the second filter is collected from the surface of the second filter, where the specified material consists mainly of . The device for purifying extracellular vesicles contains at least two membrane filters – the first one having a membrane with pore sizes within the range from 400 to 600 nm, connected to the second filter containing a membrane with pore sizes within the range from 70 to 200 nm. In this respect the membranes of the specified filters are made of materials that practically do not bind biological polymers and the device itself is designed with the possibility of filtering the biological fluid sample through both of these filters.

EFFECT: aforementioned group of inventions enables to effectively purify extracellular vesicles out of biological fluids of animals and humans, as well as culture fluid under the conditions of typical diagnostic laboratories, that is to say, without application of ultracentrifugation.
