FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the method for producing synthesis gas through the parallel use of the reformer with heat exchange and of the autothermal reformer. Process comprises (i) forming of the mixed feed stream comprising hydrocarbon feed and water vapor, (ii) preheating of the mixed stream in order to form the preheated mixed stream, (iii) separation of the preheated mixed stream into the first stream and the second stream, (iv) passing of the first stream containing hydrocarbons and water vapor to externally heated tubes filled with catalyst into the reformer with heat exchange, where steam reforming reactions take place with the generation of the first gas mixture after reforming, (v) passing of the second stream containing hydrocarbons and water vapor, after the additional heating step to the autothermal reformer, where it is combined with the oxidizing gas containing free oxygen and subjected to autothermal reforming in order to generate the second mixture of gases after reforming, (vi) mixing of the second mixture of gases after reforming and the first gas mixture after reforming in order to form the combined gas mixture after reforming and (vii) using the combined gas mixture after reforming in order to heat the catalyst-filled tubes in the reformer with heat exchange together with the formation of partially cooled combined gas mixture after reforming.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of parallel circuit efficiency.
