FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises periodic measurement of the hull potential at control points using a portable electrical measuring instrument and a portable electrode. Together with the measurement of hull potential at control points, the measurement of DC intensity, AC intensity, AC voltage drop are carried out in measuring electrical circuit formed by the hull, electric-measuring instrument attached to the hull, portable electrode connected to the electric-measuring instrument, and water. Then, based on the comparison of the measurement results of the controlled parameters with their allowable values, the degree of the hull protectability from electrochemical corrosion and electrocorrosion is evaluated.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of control results and labour productivity, reducing the number of technical control means, excluding diving and dock operations.
