SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a circuit arrangement for reducing power quality problems. This arrangement offers protection for sensitive devices, for example, from short-term voltage drops and overvoltage. The system presents a DC power supply (102) connected to the controlled inverter (114) and a controlled switching mechanism (106) for loads connected to the AC power supply (100) (for example, a home TV connected to the power grid). By switching to a serial configuration, a DC power supply (102) (for example, a photovoltaic power source) can either absorb or supply power to reduce the problem associated with power quality. In normal operation mode, by switching to a parallel configuration, the DC power supply (102) can power the load.
EFFECT: improvement of the quality of electricity supplied to the consumer.
