FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to powdered composite materials (CM) based on high-molecular compounds, specifically intended for 3D printing by layer-by-layer selective laser sintering (SLS), and a method for production thereof. One of the embodiments of powder CM is obtained by in situ polymerisation by polymerisation of ethylene on the surface of aluminium filler particles, activated by a catalyst, with formation of a coating on the surface of aluminium particles from polyethylene with molecular weight (3.0–5.7)⋅105, contains filler in amount of 70 wt.% and has the following characteristics: shape of particles of powder composite material, close to spherical, with size from 7 mcm to 83 mcm, Hausner ratio is not more than 1.13 and powder sintering window at selective laser sintering is not less than 6.0 °C.
EFFECT: providing the obtained CM with the required characteristics, in particular rheological and morphological characteristics presented to powders for SLS printing, and due to high content of filler, ensuring high accuracy of compliance with specified dimensions and shape of printed products and absence of warpage thereof.
