FIELD: polymer composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to polymer composite materials for creating effective heat exchange boundaries. Such materials can be used in cooling systems between a heatsink and an electronic device as a gasket to distribute heat and fill air gaps between elements of an electronic assembly. A method for producing a heat-conducting composite sheet anisotropic material includes mixing graphite filler particles in an amount of 25-47.5 wt.% in a solution of polyvinylidene fluoride in an organic solvent, followed by casting the film into a mold and drying to constant weight at a final temperature of 100-177°C and subsequent cooling to room temperature with the removal of the film from the mold. The resulting material has high temperature resistance, both long-term at 160°C and short-term at least 180°C, as well as maximum thermal conductivity λ|| when measured in the direction of heat flow parallel to the film plane, from 1.1 to 15 W/m⋅K, minimum thermal conductivity λ⊥ when measured in the direction of the heat flow, perpendicular to the plane of the film, from 0.3 to 2.6 W/m⋅K, and the anisotropy of thermal conductivity for any method for implementing the invention is up to 12.2.
