SUBSTANCE: at the same time the first and second application codes and respective timing information are received from the coordinating node. The timing information specifies the first and second validity intervals for the first and second application code so that the first and second validity intervals are at least partially not overlapping. During the first validity interval detection messages are sent, which include the first application code or are based on them, and one or more detection messages are passed during the second validity interval. They include the second application code or are based on it. The respective timing information specifies totally non-overlapping first and second validity intervals or the first validity interval begins prior to the second validity interval and ends prior to the end of the second validity interval, and during the transition phase, in which the validity intervals for two application codes overlap, the wireless device transmits the discovery messages that include each of the first and second codes application or are based on it.
EFFECT: ensuring continuous implementation of proximity detection procedure for other devices, which are capable of establishing a connection through a smooth transition between the access codes without the need of querying a new access code, which also reduces the alarm range.
