SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and is intended for the treatment of patients with colon cancer. Using real-time polymerase chain reaction, performing the expression of the ZEB1, ZEB2, VIM, SFRP2, PLS3 genes quantitative evaluation in samples of tumor and normal intestinal mucosa. Level of the GAPDH normalizing gene expression is also studied. With this value, the other genes expression levels are compared. As compared to a normal mucosal specimen change in the each gene expression in a tumor sample is assessed by the threshold cycle value (ΔΔCt) comparative quantification. Assigning adjuvant chemotherapy to patients with CC stage II, whose tumor has a mesenchymal phenotype with an implemented program of epithelial-mesenchymal transition in the case, if the ZEB1, ZEB2, VIM, SFRP2, PLS3 genes expression is increased in 2 or more times.

EFFECT: method provides higher treatment effectiveness.
