FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to obstetrics. Method for prediction of chorioamnionitis development in women with exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection in second trimester of pregnancy and threat of miscarriage is that in women in the second trimester of pregnancy with threat of miscarriage, markers of aggravated cytomegalovirus infection in points (A), blood serum content of interleukin-6 (IL-6) (pg/ml) (B); thickness of placenta during its ultrasonic examination in points (C), clinical-echographic signs of threat of miscarriage in points (N), and then predicting the development of chorioamnionitis by means of a discriminant equation: D = -1.085×A – 0.870×B – 2.056×C – 0.504×N, where D is a discriminant function, and if D is equal to or greater than -15.86, the absence of chorioamnionitis risk is predicted, while D is less than -15.86 and chorioamnionitis is predicted.
EFFECT: invention enables predicting the development of chorioamnionitis in women with exacerbation of cytomegaloviral infection in the second trimester of pregnancy and the threat of miscarriage.
