SUBSTANCE: invention refers to noise suppression technique. Noise suppressor contains the cylindrical casing, which is rigidly connected with the end inlet and outlet pipes, with the central partition, from inside housing is lined with sound absorbing material, and central partition is made in form of perforated pipe rigidly connected on one side with inlet branch pipe, and, on the other side, with a ring of the L-shaped profile forming an annular gap with a circular slit with the inner surface of the body, the gap is filled with sound-absorbing material, the sound-absorbing element, which is lined inside the body, is made in the form of a rigid and perforated walls, between which there is a multi-layer sound-absorbing element, which is made in the form of two layers: one of which, adjacent to the rigid wall, is sound-absorbing, and the other, that adjacent to the perforated wall, is made with a perforation from a sound-reflecting material of a complex profile consisting of uniformly distributed hollow tetrahedra, while a material based on aluminum-containing alloys is used as a sound-reflecting material, followed by filling with titanium hydride or air with a density within 0.5…0.9 kg/m³ with the following strength properties: compressive strength within 5…10 MPa, bending strength within 10…20 MPa, for example foamed aluminum, or soundproofing plates based on a glass staple fiber of the type "Shumostop" with a material density of 60÷80 kg/m³, or a material based on a magnesia binder with reinforcing fiberglass or glasscanvas.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise suppression.
