FIELD: acoustics; manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression. Silencer comprises a cylindrical housing, rigidly connected with end inlet and outlet pipes, with central partition, from inside housing is lined with sound absorbing material, and central partition is made in form of sound absorbing element, having frame, which is lined on both sides with sound absorbing material, wherein sound absorbing element frame has possibility of turning in plane, perpendicular to aerodynamic flow direction, on both sides sound absorbing element is lined with sound absorbing structure containing smooth and perforated surfaces, between which multilayer sound absorbing structure is arranged, made in form of rigid and perforated walls, between which two layers are arranged: sound-reflecting layer, adjacent to rigid wall, and sound-absorbing layer, adjoining perforated wall, wherein layer of sound reflecting material is made with complex profile, composed of evenly distributed hollow tetrahedrons.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise suppression.
