FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for applying a metal powder coating to a surface of a metal substrate. Degreasing and machining the surface of the metal substrate are carried out and electric arc spraying of the powder is also carried out, which is supplied from the burner nozzle electrode by means of a transport gas to the electric arc zone between the nozzle electrode and the metal substrate. Mixture of air and flammable gas is used as the transport gas.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the quality of coating deposition.
