FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: scanning and tracking device contains an azimuthal platform equipped with the angle sensor and the drive with the control unit, and a lens placed thereon, an optical compensator mounted on a rotating platform provided with the angle sensor and the drive with the control unit, and a matrix photodetector (MPD) with the control unit and the storage device. The inputs/outputs of the angle sensors, the drive control units, the MPD control unit, the memory device, the monitor, and the device control unit are connected to the corresponding inputs/outputs of the computing-control unit.
EFFECT: more flexible traffic control of the optical compensator that allows to increase the exposure time of the observable space, to improve the compensation accuracy and to simplify the design of the device by eliminating the mechanical transmission between the scanning platform and the rotary platform of the optical compensator, to provide a tracking mode of the detected object with the reduced power consumption in this mode.
