FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to immunology, and can be used for estimating human health condition. In the peripheral blood of the subject, using the flow cytofluorometry method, the percentage of Th17 lymphocytes is determined, namely the percentage of lymphocytes with the phenotype CD3+CD4+CD161+CD45R0+ from the gate of CD3+CD4+ lymphocytes. Estimated percentage of Th17 lymphocytes in peripheral blood is calculated according to the following formula: y = -0.0059x2 + 0.6819x + 1.1671, where x is the age of the subject in years, y is the calculated percentage of Th17 for a given age; the calculated and real values of the percentage of Th17 lymphocytes in the peripheral blood are compared. If they coincide or if the difference between them does not exceed 2σ, the subject is considered healthy. If the actual Th17-lymphocyte count exceeds the calculated value by more than 2σ the patient is considered ill, where σ – standard deviation.
EFFECT: use of this method allows to identify a group of healthy individuals and a group of sick persons on the basis of the criterion of the correspondence of the age-specific norm of Th17-lymphocytes in peripheral blood to those with unknown anamnesis and unclear clinical manifestations.
