FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power supply to auxiliary equipment of vehicles. Lighting system of a freight car of a railway rolling stock includes an electric power generation unit connected to the working air main of a freight car. Power generation unit comprises a wind generator whose output is connected to an input of a voltage regulator. Power generation unit via the cable line is connected to the luminaires placed on the car body. Rolling stock includes a locomotive, a wagon with a compressor unit to create pressure in the working air train of the rolling stock and a pneumatic control valve.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the illumination level of the working area of the car of non-electrified rolling stock.
