FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine, in particular to the study of the therapeutic effect of focused ultrasound on blood vessels. Method of experimental assessment of the effectiveness of ultrasound includes the use of the caudal vein of a rabbit. For this, when performing a supermedian laparotomy, they open the access to caudal vein, the ligature is poured under it and the segment of the vein is threaded in the longitudinal direction, forming a pair of parallel channels with the preservation of blood flow in at least one of them.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is that the model of the vessel, comparable in size to the large human saphenous vein, significantly increases the reliability of the studies, and the longitudinal insertion of the vein makes it possible to conduct chronic experiments with included and excluded blood flows on one animal.
