SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to experimental surgery. Isolating and puncturing the left carotid artery with a syringe with a needle 27-29 G, directed with a cut to the bottom, which is placed parallel to the vessel at the head end and, pressing against the front wall, advancing caudally until blood appears in the syringe. Then, 0.45 ml of blood is sampled in 8–10 seconds, then placing it into a cuvette of the ARP-01M “Mednord” low-frequency piezotromboelastograph.

EFFECT: method allows for low-traumatic access, eliminates iatrogenic effects on the studied indices of low-frequency piezotromboelastography in small laboratory animals, and also perform blood sampling within 10 seconds without blood loss due to the puncture performed by a facing downward needle.
