FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an outer crushing cover of a cone crusher and a crusher with such a cover which can be used in the mining industry. Outer crushing cover comprises an area of the upper contact surface divided into a plurality of projections elongated on the periphery. Said projections are separated by intermediate regions forming a gap and adapted to be filled with a suitable supporting material for structural reinforcement of the cover. Channel extends circumferentially around the cover in the outwardly facing surface for separating in the axial direction the area of the upper contact surface from the area of the lower contact surface. Channel is also adapted to be filled with supporting material.
EFFECT: outer crushing cover is characterised by greater resistance to impact loads, which, when used in cone crushers, prolongs its service life.
