GYRATORY CRUSHER SPIDER BUSHING ASSEMBLY Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC B02C2/06

Abstract RU 2667763 C1

FIELD: crushing or grinding of various materials; grinding of grain.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to structural elements of gyratory crushers. Assembly is positioned radially between a topshell spider and a crusher main shaft, which is configured for precession in the crusher. Assembly comprises an annular main body extending around an axis of the assembly and having a radially outward facing surface for positioning opposite to the topshell spider, and a radially inward facing surface for positioning opposite to the main shaft or a sleeve surrounding the main shaft. Main body is formed from a first material and has a first end having a mount flange extending radially outward and a second end intended to be positioned below the first end within the crusher. Assembly includes an annular wear collar positioned at the inward facing surface and extending radially inward from the main body to contact the main shaft or the sleeve. Said collar is mounted at the main body to prevent independent rotation of the collar about the axis relative to the main body. Collar comprises a second material having a wear resistance greater than the first material. Collar has an axial length corresponding to a distance between a first end and a second end of the collar that is less than that 75 % of an axial length the main body corresponding to a distance between the first end of the main body and a region of the main body aligned at the same axial position as the second end of the collar. Collar is positioned axially closest to the second end of the main body relative to the first end of the main body. Inward facing surface and/or the collar comprises a radially extending abutment to axially separate and prevent the collar from moving axially towards the first end. Inward facing surface of the main body extends transversely relative to the axis of the assembly with a radially outward inclination such that in the axial direction the radial distance of the inward facing surface from the axis at the position of the first end of the main body is greater than the radial distance of said surface from the axis at the position of the abutment or at a position near it. Gyratory crusher includes a spider bushing assembly.

EFFECT: creating a spider bushing designed to protect the inner radial region of a topshell spider and to increase wear resistance as compared to conventional liners.
